A: With proper care, SleeknSmooth Hair can last 1+ years or longer — depending on the texture and how often it’s worn. We use only premium-quality hair to ensure long-term wear with a luxurious feel.

 

Q: Does the hair shed or tangle?

A: Minimal shedding is normal (just like your natural hair), but consistent care and proper installation will prevent tangling and keep your hair smooth and sleek. Use a wide-tooth comb or paddle brush, and always detangle from the ends up.

 

Q: Can I swim with the hair?

A: Yes — but it’s important to rinse with clean water immediately after swimming and deep condition soon after to keep the hair hydrated and soft. We recommend wearing the hair in a braid or ponytail while swimming to prevent tangling.

Q: What’s the difference between HD lace and transparent lace?

A: HD lace is thinner, more breathable, and blends seamlessly into your scalp — perfect for undetectable installs. Transparent lace is slightly thicker but still offers a natural look. We primarily offer HD lace for the most flawless melt.

 

Q: Can I apply heat to the hair?

A: Yes! Our hair can be straightened, curled, or styled with heat tools. We always recommend using a heat protectant and keeping tools at a moderate temperature to avoid damage.

 

Q: What if I receive the wrong item or something is missing?

A: Please contact us within 48 hours of receiving your order if something is wrong. Send your order number and a photo to support@sleeknsmoothhair.com, and we’ll make it right ASAP.
